i'm installing factory A/C in my 1979 chevy van. i got very sick last
summer driving by myself in indianna pulling my trailer. my weight loss
has affected my ability to stand the heat. i'm preparing for this summer
and am not going to get sick again! during the under hood part of the
operation i had to move my trans cooler . i noticed that i had a mess of
reddish trans fluid wich had leaked out during the disconnecting of the
lines. and saw i had it all over the tools so i wiped evrything off and
cleaned up the mess....done right? nope! there was more red fluid....then
i noticed i was leaking the red fluid.....umm it was so cold that i never
felt my left thumb getting cut on some sharp metal somewhere. it was a real
good knuckle slice. i'm all patched up and i'm done leaking trans
fluid.....
but my point is the cold causes numbness and an injury can occur that you
might not notice untill well after the fact like me. i realised there was
blood evrywhere and i was so darn busy doing the work i did not notice i was
hurt. it did not hurt at all! but smarts like the dickens now!
good thing it will be colder tomorrow! NOT!
so be carefull out there!!!! the automatic transmission fluid leak you find
might not be transmission fluid!

chuck.
so, what have you bought for your 346,000mile vehicle lately? mine's
getting A/C! :)
