Bugeyes (side curtain cars) all had a 5/8 shaft with course splines.
65-67 had a 3/4 shaft with fine splines
68-69 went back to a 5/8 shaft but with fine splines.
Midgets continued to change at least 2 more times.
I do not know the count on the splines but it is noticable from course
to fine.
All the shafts from 58 thru 67 are interchangable.
