I have unrolled the original Lucas flashers, unrolled a new $3 Ideal or
other US over the counter flasher.
Take the guts of the new, insert into the Lucas can, gently re-roll the
end to seal it up.
Use a 1/8" drill to drill out the spade terminals to accept the early
type screw on connectors.
Even the judges won't know.
But after today with 2 new (out of the blister pack) flashers that did
not work, Make sure the new flasher works before you fit the guts into
the Lucas houcing.
