Alex,

There is cutting involved as well as planning. You will need to modify the
passenger foot well a little in one corner. You will need to modify the
center support and tunnel a little. Like I said. You need to plan...this is
key! the brakes will need to be modified as will the tire size.(You'll have
lots more ponies under the bonnet and you need to slow them down and keep
the hooves on the ground...so to speak) I always say "Going is an
option...Stopping is a MUST!".

My choice of engine is the 13B from an 84-85 Rx7. You want the rear axel
from the same year from the GSL SE model or just a GSL model. These models
have disc brakes on the rear as well as a LSD. The 86 and newer had
independent rear suspension so don't look there. If you get a later model
13B engine(86 or newer), you will need to get an 84-85 13B front plate. The
front plate has the motor mount area you need.

My 64 was used as a race car before I got it (thus a perfect car for the
project).

Is there any particular year of RX7 involved or are they generally the same?
I have a bugeye that I just got. There is no drivetrain & the PPO, used it
for racing. There is a lot of mods cut out. I am looking for an alternative
drivetrain rather than the A series. I have a tuned 1275 in my midget
already. Need more excitement. Is there a lot of cutting involved to make it
fit?
I am really interested in this operation. Any info you can share would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Alex
