Hello all.
Plans are in the works to gather a caravan to travel
up to Carlisle, PA in May for the Import Auto show.
We're trying to assemble groups at various locations that
can meet up along the way.
People coming up from VA and points farther south
can meet up where ever.
Assembly of the group in the Annapolis MD area will be heading up
Rt695 to Rt795. The plan is to take the rural route to Carlisle, passing
through Westminster, and traveling up through Hanover and Gettysburg
and on into Carlisle via old route 30
It's a somewhat scenic 'non-highway' speed drive. The route takes
you into Carlisle from the south, bypassing all the traffic trying to get
into
Carlisle to the fairgrounds from the turnpike.
It's about a 90 minute drive from Rt695 to Carlisle. Current plans are to
arrive on the show field around 8-9 a.m.
Anyone interested, simply pipe in with an email reply. We'll try and
get everyone in various areas 'hooked up' as the caravan grows
while heading north.
