Bob,

Problem is fuel tank sender doesn't match the gas gauge. There were several
different senders one reading lots of resistance when full, the other reading 0
resistance when full. Phil Prolifi? has a piece about this phenomenom on his
website. Anyone out there got the link handy. This one drove me batty for
several weeks. Seeing as how excessive use of the right foot seems to keep me
in line at Sunoco for 260 grade hi test, knowing how much is left in the tank
seems to be fairly important.

I hear claims of 30+ mpg on this list but obviously you aren't driving your
Spridget properly. 19-20 mpg is as best as I can do around town in what can
best be called spirited driving. Bugsy diesels on and on if I use less than
Sunoco 260, 94 octane. Shell or BP Premium = dieseling. '66 1098 Engine has
been rebuilt but to what extent I don't know. Not sure if head was shaved or
not to increase compresion ratio. I will say Bugsy runs very well, but he likes
hi test, that's for sure.
