Anyway...many of you might not be aware
that the French gov't. decided their only way to get a piece of post-war
Iraq was
to do something (anything!) to aid the
current effort to remove Saddam's regime.
and rid the country of WMD's.
Thus, they donated to American troops
the current improved version of the
"Shosho" machine gun, just as they did
with this gun's earlier version in WW1.
What we have here, is an American soldier doing exactly what our
doughboys
did back in WW1, to "fix" the original
models. :):)
