Installed a Datsun 5 speed over the winter and have been driving it for the
past few months. And just like everybody that has done this it makes a
considerable difference in drivability. The 5th gear is very nice for the
highway. Also took some time this winter to do a rear main bearing leak fix
using the Morriservice technique which calls for drilling the rear main seal
and using epoxy to eliminate the gape between the crank "scroll" and the
bearing. Along with an update of my old PVC system and eliminating the old BL
PVC valve and substituting a modern PVC that oil leak seems to be under
control.
