Yeah--they dropped into the wheel pretty well. Good fit. Slid on the spindle
and sat very well. But there is only one cotter pin hole and the nut would
not reach it, even after serious grinding on the nut. And yes. everything was
seated. Just would not work. Course the damned things were made in China and
Japan respectively (shut up Frank!). But they were the same width as the ball
bearings (I checked).
