That thought crossed my mind when I read the original post too. Not only
liability issues for Rick, but for anyone who worked on the car, figuring the
way
the leeches of our society work today. There is surely a way to deal with
this--are there any lawyers on the list who would volunteer to find a way to
protect those who in good faith worked on, or donated to, the car from other
lawyers? It IS an issue that has to be considered.

Read the letter to the editor with pictures in the June issue of Healey
Marque magazine about the 1960 BT7 belonging to Ray Gibbs in Northern
Virginia.
He had PARKED his beautiful car and was refereeing a soccer game when a young
girl plowed into the back of his Healey, ramming it into the car in front of
it. Destroyed Ray's Healey. Conniving and despicable insurance companies and
lawyers managed to exclude Ray from recovering the loss of his Healey, while
the car that his Healey was pushed into was compensated for damage to it.
Don't
ask me. .I am always astounded by some of the atrocious things that come out
of our mockeries of "justice".

But you just have to have a good lawyer with a good plan to protect you from
other lawyers.
