Well many years have come to pass... and I finally made it into the Bonnville
Two hundred Mph club to join Donald Healey....
Started out getting a new car for speedweek.... it''s a Modified sports car
that started life as a Berkeley.... don't worry there ain't enough Berkeley
left to shake a stick at.... it's affectionately called a Sports liner... as
it's 17' long and the front wheels are enclosed...
It's not a Healey.... but it was close enough to get me started and give me
the basic chassis that I've always wanted... and it was a proven car...hard
combination to beat...
6 passes on the salt... with the first two being check out runs....
the old record in D Modified Gas Roadster was 222 and change... it's now
246.555mph.... yep the little car hauls ass... and that was on Gasoline... no
Nitrous... which I'm kinda famous for... anyway... it's been a great ride and
there is lots more in it's future... just wanted to share it...
