Yeah...I know what you mean.
...one thing 9/11 did along with the
Enron, Worldcom, etc. scam was empty
the skies of ATC "overcrowding" which
had plagued the industry in prior years.
I sure don't miss the industry (as it was)
but I do miss the responsibility along with
the fun of "driving". Not using the travel
bennies either, Larry. Got everything I
need and want right here and do not miss
"security" lines and checks and crowds one little bit. :)
After 30 years of commuting, hotels, etc.
it's fine to just stay home for a change and be with my "buds", two of
whom fly
A320's for UAL (LGA) and Jet Blue (JFK),
respectively. So, I'm staying "in touch" so
to speak!
