Like my first car ('61 Anglia deluxe 105e, turquoise) and the one in the
second Harry Potter book.
I also like Cortinas (Mk1-MkII), -rwd- Escorts MkI-MkII and the Capri
imported to the U.S. for Mercury, especially the MkI. (There was an
earlier British market Capri that I know almost nothing about but the
styling doesn't interest me.)

Same here Ed. I was disappointed at the English Ford showing at the
recent British car show. There was one Cortina and Escort each and 2
Fiesta's (one was a [the?] Cosworth).

Have you seen Classic Ford magazine? www.classicford.co.uk It's pretty
good info for just the models you mention plus the 100E. It's mostly
devoted to "rodded" cars but has great info.

I'm always on the lookout for another Cortina. Unfortunately I don't
have the space for one right now.
