a science class or scientific supply house.
the tube is referred to as a burette(sp.?) tube. a tiny on / off valve at
the bottom. use a piece of plexiglass with a hole drilled in it in the
center. smear a liberal amount of vaseline around the cylinder sealing area
on the head and seat the plexiglass on the head using the grease as the
sealer. use either colored water or automatic trans fluid. level head
upside down and mark fluid level in tube at start. fill up combustion
chamber with fluid untill it is "full" with no air pockets showing under the
plexiglass. take level measurement on tube . subtract new level from
starting level in tube and *drum roll please*...you just CC'd a comnbustion
chamber! now off to imbibe a quality beverage and revel at the simplicity
of the operation! and if you are trying to match chamber sizes you record
all chambers. and find the largest chamber. that is your target size with
remaining chambers as to the amount you need to remove to get the remaining
smaller chambers to come upo to but not exceed the target size chamber.
you are on your way to blue printing 101 A-LA-Dremel!
chuck.
never a dull moment in chuckville!
