He fell just as quickly as immediately
subsequent to his winning, another previous contestant who had taken a
"dive" at the request of the show's
producer, Dan Enright, spilled the beans
as to the show being "fixed" after he and
Dan had a fallout over promises made
as a payoff for this contentant taking the dive.
This fellow's name was Herb Stemple,
I believe.
