Hi Kevin,

I've always let them set over the winter with antifreeze, so can't answer
that with experience, but as I recall there was always a tag clipped over
the heater pipe on all the new cars that it was impossible to drain the
heater unit,  If this was true for the block or not, I've forgotten.  There
was a drain spigot or plug near the rear left side of the block, too.
