Why????

'Cause they are not making a military product upon which their survival
depends
for one thing and they are making a car
part to a dollar for another. So you
gotta order a gun or MIG to get their
best quality, evidently!! :):)

Frank...how much would we be paying for
original quality 1960 parts in today's dollars? Vick Brits fr'instance,
sells "new"
A-frames for $120 each.

Moss sells them for $160 and according
to them, they are NOT of Far East mfgr.
and come from the UK (who got them
from ??????). LBCarCo discounts these
at $135.

An "original quality" A-frame from England
retails for $200 these days. Since we are
talking a major structual member which
takes a beating, I went the $200 route
(properly discounted of course, since I
am such a good customer as well as being a major "nice guy",
obviously!!:)
and it's a job "R&Ring" it. So, do it
once with a quality part (hopefully!:).

People don't want to pay more, they want
to pay less....so what's the market like for
the more expensive, quality part??
