Anybody know the secret to getting a Subaru engine out?
All bolts are out, engine is 2" away from the tranny but there is
something springing the engine back to the tranny.
This is a Top quality 2002 Subaru WRX. It needs a piston.
I didn't break it, my kid's buddy is about to junk it but he still has 4
years to go on the payments.
What is the trick to getting the enfine out? It would seem to me that
some jap engineer has a bolt thru the input shaft. We can see it, we can
see all around it but it just springs back.
I mean 2 giant crow bars prying and 2 other guys yanking, where is the
return spring that hold it in?
