Hello spridgets,
ok, i received the carb stacks (from huffaker!) with plans to
put them inside the stock air cleaners. the problem is the bolts
that hold the air cleaners on won't make it past the flare of
the stacks..(you ALL probably knew that already.. DUH!) so it
looks like i'll have to go with K$N filters. ... i've looked on
the aptfast websight and see two different styles,
6" round, 3 1/4" tall cylindrical .... and
5 7/8" base, 3 1/2" top 2" high CONE type.
my stacks are 1 1/2" tall ... .. ..
now the questions.. WHICH to get? .. do i need more clearance
than the 1/2" of the cone? ... will the 6" cylindrical FIT the
dual carb set up? ..lacking VIZARD,(to tell me) will this
length stack help top or midrange power?
