Oh, yeah...it will, David. Once you get that "flat spot" out of there,
it most certainly will.

What the fixed venturi carb has over the
variable type is quickness of response.
Once you get the mix right for acceleration, it'll go like hell in
consideration of your state of tune
(all else being equal, of course).

All we gotta do is "fill that hole" with the
right mixture. :)
