Today I took my Sprite horn apart (wasn't working). Found it full of rust,
etc. I should have stopped with separating the case, but I though it would
be easier to clean the points if I took them out too. Now I am having a
terrible time getting them back together. Fingers are too big or parts are
too small. Parts must be small because I have trouble seeing them with
these bifocals. I did get it assembled a time or two, but found I had a
short because the ohm meter shows continuity with the points closed and open.
I haven't given up yet - I'll try again tomorrow.
Moral - Don't get carried away when restoring components!
