Female racing drivers are different...They simply aren't raised the way
males in our world are... Shoot when I got my first car the only thing I
wanted to know was how fast it was.... my wife on the other hand is a normal
law abiding member of society... hmmm She'd never been over the speed limit
by more then 5 mph... To teach her how to drive a race car was a real
treat... she didn't come with the built in Male ego... she had to have twice
the courage that it takes for a guy to do this... it was just that far out
of her realm of reality...

We started out slow... with me actually drawing up a lesson plan for each
event... thereby insuring that she was informed of as many situations that
could arise on a race course...and she absolutely did everything I told her
to.. and didn't do anything I forgot to mention... Like Parachutes and stuff
like that...

My favorite events with her was when the car caught fire once and a the last
meet where she had the steering wheel come off... at oh say 150mph... no
kidding... she handled it like a pro... until she got out of the car and was
shaking like a leaf.... I immediately stuck her back in the car for another
pass.... she'd run 199.2 and 199.6 prior to the steering wheel ending up in
her hands... on the last pass I just wanted her to make a clean run.... no
speed intended but she got her head right and went 201.125mph to set a
Record at Maxton and put herself in the ECTA 200mph club... oh and win the
season points championship..

We've been married for two weeks now and I can't think of a better partner
in life... awesome lady with courage and integrity of character... Lucky
me...

Keith ( you can see a pic of her and the car at www.ecta-lsr.com it's on the
first page and that's my sweetie holding the steering wheel... and as they
say... now you know the rest of the story )
