That's what you get for trying to give the state an extra $50. :)

OK, I just need to vent. And this is info for anyone else looking for
personalized QQ plates in NJ.

I called this morning for a status on my plates. The good news is that
the order is in the computer. The bad news is that I have to wait
another 8 WEEKS for the plates! (for a total of 12) And, I can't get a
regular or any temp registration in the meantime. I found out that I
could have registered it normally beforehand, and THEN sent in the
personalized request. But no-one tells you these things. There's no
mention of the 12 weeks in the paper Trenton sends, and no mention of it
on the website. How the hell am I supposed to figure out the wait, by
telepathy?! I'll be lucky if i get plates in time for the PA rally!

OK, rant over. I'm going to grab the plates off my Camry to get this car
down to the muffler shop.

-=Chris
