Hi all,
Went to take Little Bits for a ride and after pulling out of the garage
to warm up she quit and would not restart. Had this happen before and it
appeared that the needle had stuck in the front float bowl. Took the
tops off and there wasn't any fuel in the bowls. Tested the pump with
the hand lever and it seemed fine. Looked at the needle and its stuck in
the seat. Last time I rapped on the bowls with a screwdriver handle and
we were fine for a while. I changed back to the brass tipped plastic
ones that were in there originally and we're running fine again. The
sticky ones from the rebuild kit are aluminum with a urethane looking
softer tip. Going out for a test run after dinner. Just wondered if
anyone else has had this problem.
