<<However it should be exempt from smog laws since it's so old, >>

I like Corvettes, old and new. 1974 is the start for smog requirement in CA,
so a 1973 Corvette would be exempt. Price seems quite fair for So Cal... As
for the house, that might be a bargain by SD prices - a 720 square foot
house, on a small lot and not in a particulary desirable area of San Diego
but close to downtown, recently sold for $490,000! A friend of mine bought a
3000 square foot house near the coast for $800,000 a year ago. She is
thinking of putting it for sale at $1,200,000 - and I believe she would get
it, or very close to it. Crazy! If SD house prices don't drop within five
years, I'll sell up and retire in style after moving to Arizona or New
Mexico!
