Haven't you seen these? Some of the newer Porsches have individual
rollbars behind the seats. The are retracted below the seatbacks out of
sight, unless the car senses an impending rollover, then they shoot up
and lock into a position that's supposed to save your a$$ (well,
actually your neck and head, but you know what I mean.)
Would I trust'em? Uhhhhh, no. I'm not that vain. If I need a rollbar
I'm putting in a friggin' ROLLBAR for Pete's sake!
