flooding

After idling for a while or
coming back after 5 minutes and
starting the bugeye it is flooded :(



Have to keep the throttle wide open
till it revs up.

Bad Float needle? 
Single SU carb.

Napa electronic fuel pump.

Have not dived into the float bowl yet.

PS: IF you have a bad float valve can it cause
your idling motor to slowly stall out and die
after sitting at a stop sign for say 3 to 5 minutes?
