I didn't think that was the right mural. I think Glen and I were both
thinking of the flairs on the other car as that is the one I've always seen
at the show. You are right the pictures don't do it justice. I think you
would have a hard time doing a "quick repaint" as I doubt you could match
the deep metal flake that also doesn't show in the pictures. With a good
picture of the mural, somebody would fall in love with it. While not my
style, it is "quality" art work. His mechanical work is also well thought
out and executed, it isn't just slapped together. I bet it drives even
better than it looks and I'd love to get my hands on it through the Feather
River Canyon. The pictures just don't do the car justice.

Pictures make all the difference in the world on ebay, and these are plain
bad. Seen in person, and judged as a custom car, the work on this car is
right up there with the best show stuff built. As can be seen in the last
picture of the auction, this was one of a pair of wild bugeye customs. The
murals on the back are his & hers frogs. The car shown for sale is the more

mild of the two, and was "hers". A quick repaint to get rid of the mural,
and this would be a very nice ride.
