But of course. The 1500s used the hanging pedal but it mounts at a 
different point.
The Bugeye and early Spridgets had the pedal rods at right angles.
The later Sprigets had a different angle and bolted to a different spot.
Same spot from 68 on but the Bugeyes do NOT have the welded nut where 
the later rod bolts across the footwell.
But, I use a self drilling screw with a drop of locktite on it.
You just can not get to the back side to install a nut, it's inside that 
triangle piece next to the frame rail under the bonnet.
I used a 3/8 hex headed self drilling bolt. It has been fine for 2 
years, and I had the same thing on my other bugeye for several years too.
