Just got back from the Alpine 500 event in northern California. Chased mini's all weekend. Passed BMW's. What a blast. On the trip home near Placerville, ca I noticed I had some gear oil splattered on my left rear rim. Didn't seem to affect brakes. Do I have a bad seal? On Mossmotors.com part number 120-030 looks like a rubber seal behind the wheel bearing. Could that be bad? Is this a hard job to replace? Do I have to take out the wheel bearing? If so then probably a good idea to do all new bearings and the gasket too (296-030). Thanks in advance. Mike |
