I test drove a Midget on Sunday that I'll be buying. The only problem I
need to work on immediately is that the clutch pedal must go all the way
to the floor for disengagement, and therefore it grabs right off of the
floor. The owner is not a mechanic, but did tell me that a new clutch
was recently installed along with a roller throughout bearing. I suspect
that this is a T.O. bearing distance problem, and that I may fix it by
fabricating an adjustment to the pushrod length. I've never seen a
roller T.O. bearing for a Spridget, can someone verify if they are a
different dimension from the stock bearing?
