A little while back I reported my mysterious dead battery. I brought it to
Autozone where they checked it out as shot. I replaced it, dropped the new one
into my 78 Midget and merrily drove.off. All was well for a while. Then today
I turn the key, get a few cranks, then nothing. It jumpstarts just fine and I
take it out to charge the battery. I then resign myself to an extended search
for the mystery cause of my chronically dying batteries. I opened the boot -
and - found the problem. I wish every problem could be this easy...
