Hello ,

i started going to ABFM's long BEFORE i had an LBC. i just
wanted to see the cars and talk to the people. the first couple
of years after i got the car i didn't take it to the shows and
i hated having to say, "oh, i have one of those but its in the
garage"... .. now mine is definetely a "driver" not a show
quality piece at all, but this past year i entered three
different ABFM's (Vancouver BC, Seattle, Portland OR) and at
each of them i had a blast, ripped up interior and all. I don't
expect to win place or show, but i DO get a chance to TALK to
like minded people and get a look at THIER cars. the list is a
nice community, but actually conversing with other owners of
SPRITE's and Jags, and Loti, etc, etc, is a kick unto itself.
and worth every penny of the entry fee, and time spent in
preperation, travel and expenses. .. IMHO, YMMV.
