Thanks should go to David Littlefield for some tickets first off! Thanks
David.

We had a great weekend watching the CVAR group run at Hallett Race track
in Jennings, Oklahoma. Hallett is a fun place to go, about 1.3 miles or
so road course in NE Oklahoma hills. Saw many vintage cars, lots of MG's
Sprites/Bugeyes...and my favorite a field of about 7 or more Super Sevens
all running fast. Then you had about 10 or more Forumula Fords all
screaming down the straights as well as Formula Vee's and Super Vee's
while not British they are a blast to watch. This is a great course to
watch at, you pretty much go where you want when you want. We parked on a
hill overlooking turn 1 about 100' off the track and about 20' above it,
brought a tent for the kids to hang out in and had a day of it. Great
weather as well, as it was in the low 70's and a light NE wind so it was
perfect.

I didn't get much time to check on our fellow Spridget list members, as I
didn't want to be in the way plus had to keep my 2 year old car nut at
bay. But last time I saw David he was working on the brakes on his wifes
Midget. His car seemed to be running pretty strong, not sure where he
finished at overall but he had some stiff competetion in his field.

To top it all off, my father in law and I were able to get a first hand
tour of a new Lotus Elise...and you thought a Spridget was small!

Thanks again,
