SOS '05, the first ever at the Dream Farm, is history.

Thanks for all that attended, helped, ate, stood around, etc.

Special thanks to.

Thanks to my wife, the lovely Dr. Nancy, (the Striking Viking), with whom I
share this Dream Farm. She actually enjoys this kind of thing as much as I
do, and encourages it. She made eggs and Swedish pancakes.

Thanks to Larry "Dr. Fine" Daniels, for his tireless efforts in getting the
shop and his car ready for its dissection. The goofy bastard even came by
Sunday and was found cleaning up the shop. Larry also donated 30 stellar
teriyaki marinated ribeyes to the animal sacrifices.

Willy Thompson and Dave Leib. Speaking of goofs.. what a pair these guys
are. Dave was sporting his usual steel toed open sandals, snow and all.
Willy was sportin' some serious butt cleavage during some of his welding in
the floor of "Mickey" (rightfully named ala "Rocky" due to the carcass
discovered residing in it). Dave brought some Korean beef (I'm thinkin'
German Shepard) and Willy is to blame for me never being able to eat another
brat. unless its one from his place in Racine. It was a lunchtime sandwich,
and Nancy also made it a breakfast treat as well.

Thanks to Paul A and PPP for the engine paint donation.

Thanks to Michael Schickler for his shop warming gift of a very nice
libation.

Friday's surprise 4" snowfall dampened attendance a little, but we managed
to get Mickey "de Flintstoned", and Larry's bugeye "Flintstoned".

Nephew Nate manned (ok. boyed) the web cam and laptop when he wasn't napping
on the couch.

Brother Don brought the trailer full of vintage racing go karts. With the
track plowed, we actually got to make some treacherous laps late Sat.

When things finally settled, folks had left, and Nancy and I had settled in
at the house, going to watch a movie, and have a little drinkiepooh. who
call, but my little buddy PPP, sounding very distressed about having hit a
tractor on Rt. 23. Huh? Flounder to the rescue. Everyone in Wisconsin hits a
deer. not a question of if, just when. But, nobody around here hits a green
one. Wassupwitdat? Luckily, no one was hurt.as it could have turned out
quite differently.

There's been talk already of a one Sat-Sun Summer SOS event next year. I'm
thinking a warm dry go kart track might have something to do with that.

I hope those of you that checked in via web cam enjoyed yourselves. We'll
probably broadcast some other Thicko events throughout the year.

Thanks again to all, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

WST
