How far are you from The Farm, Kate?

Farther than you, I'm sure.  I am just off I-80, about 300 miles west of
SLC.  I figure that this would be about the best time for me to try
something stupid like this, as my engine has about 4,000 miles on it, and my
new ribcase about 1/4 that number.  I'm sure I can find enough back roads
that are open in the summer to not hurt her.  Perhaps some Kalifornians
would also want to go, and we could convoy.
