Yes, I think it did.  Pretty sure the early P series did too.  But these
were canvas over wood with essentially no wood showing.  The Morgan I speak
of had a wooden boat tail as a wooden speeed boat had.  Just lovely.  Saw it
in the SF Bay area as I recall.
