LOL.....you old guys are wearin' me out!! :)

Wait'll you hit 60+. Look....it's really as simple as the FACT you're cell
reproduction
rate declines with age, all else being equal.

This is the big selling point with "HGH" or
human growth hormone. It's supposed to
"stimulate" more rapid cell repair/ replacement. Whether it works or not
I've no clue.

Long story short....as we "age"....
we need to start taking better care of
our "selfs". We cut down on our bad habits
such as drinking and/or smoking and late
nights.....you limit it......the key to this being how you personally feel.

"A man's gotta know his limitations". Not
the other guy's......YOUR own! The hell with
the other guy....he's his problem, you're
your's.

Your sleep becomes more important to you,
not less as some would have you believe,
'cause any damage done takes longer to repair in view of paragraph one. Which is
only one reason why smoking and drinking
to excess (whatever that is for you) catches
up with us....the body cannot repair and/or replace cells as quickly in time.

What it used to be able to do in this respect in a couple of hours now takes
all night....or maybe two nights?

Light excersize becomes important to the
extent it limits couch potato time. You don't
have to break your cojones. You don't have to strain yourself.....just "keep
moving".....swimming/walking/sex is great
aerobic/circulatory stuff. My rounds as a
part-time security officer are perfect for
this. I walk 5 miles a week.

And no more stuffing yourself....eat 'til you're not hungry....not 'til you're
"full".
You need less as you grow older, not as
much or more.

And limit "stress" to the extent you have
control over it. Stress can do a number on the immune system. And
remember...your
cell reproduction rate is a cousin of your
immune system. Get your sleep and rest.
Take more breaks. Be respectful of your
"old" self. Treat your older "self" kindly.

We're gettin' older...so we oughta be gettin' smarter.

After all, in reality, a "man" (or "woman") is nothing more than a human being
of the male (or female) "persuasion", despite what
certain others may think and say in view
of THEIR state of "awareness".

And remember....after all is said and done, we're gonna die anyway! But your
"quality"
of life ('til death) in this context is up to you.
