Well, that's all very interesting, and the 1962 bit for a bugeye got by me,
however I was answering the "just curious if there are any differences from
59 - 62" ( which I read as 59 minus 62 to get a difference of minus 3 ). ;)

The "SAR" in the subject line means "Smart Alek Reply".

Robert,
As I understand the Bugeye was built in 58, 59 & 60 and in 61 the last of
the 60's trickled out as the MKII was starting to be sold. The Bugeye which
is refered to as a MKI was never officially labeled by the company as MKI
but called MKI to differentiate it from the MKII. The 62 is a MKII and had a
square bonnet and it's vin starts with HAN6 whereas the Bugeye starts with
AN5 and if you have a Bugeye bonnet on a vin HAN6 it is a modification where
the Bugeye bonnet was put on a HAN6 MKII model. Also the only was as I
understand it to find out what year your Bugeye AH5 is other than the title
& papers and the British Car Heritage Foundation is via the windshield
washer motor because if it is the original washer motor the number would
coincide with the year of the car 58, 59 or 60.

Do I have all this right boys?

any modifications to the cars in the next 4 years?
