Got my top yesterday. General question, this is on my Mk2 Sprite: Shouldn't
the top have the "pockets" pre-sewn into the front and rear? Where the metal
blades go, the front one engages into the lip in the top of the windshield
frame, and the rear one engages into the "teardrop" shaped fixtures on the
rear. There not sewn in at all, the front is just a plain unfolded edge. Maybe
this is part of the fitment process, in that case scratch one "DIY" job. Also
on the rear panel area, where the 1/4-turn fastener is, there is velcro on the
back side? Doesn't seem right. I know later tops used velcro somewhere back
there though. Not an early one.

On the belts, I have the 3 point non-retractable belts, and I have the rear
arch brackets but no way to attach the belts to them. The seat belt provider
sent what they said is used for this, but not right. They sent a rectangular
shaped, flat piece of metal with 1 slot, and a picture of how this is supposed
to work, which doesn't look like it'd be simple to adjust later on, plus
pretty crude looking. What I had imagined it should look like is closer to a
square shape with a pair of slots the belt would wind through. Sort of a
squared off figure 8 looking think. Wondering if anyone had dealt with
something like this before.
