I'm not pushing one vendor over another. There are many good parts
suppliers. I've bought from Moss US, Moss UK, Brown & Gammons, The
Roadster Factory, AH Spares, BMC, Obsolete Automotive, British Auto Parts,
Motorhead, Autofarm, and some I've forgotten the name (who are those guys
in Ohio who race?). I've had the odd disappointment but by and large they
have all been good. Some are better than others, in specific areas.

What I have found to be the MOST important thing in buying parts is knowing
exactly what I want. Go right down to the BMC part number, when in doubt,
order both, you can return one or sell it at a boot sale - or sell to the
guys who ordered the wrong part. Yes you will have extra parts.

Don't be afraid to order direct from the UK. Service is fast -
particularly on small parts. Don't be afraid to pay a little extra from
the guy round the corner - you may need his help! If you get ripped off
(and they won't help)- tell us, but copy the guy responsible.

As for E-Bay, beware, and remember what PT Barnum said.

For the record, I do recommend all the suppliers I mentioned above - and I
will buy from them again - when the need arises.

Regards,
Martyn

PS: Bob of Autofarm - Thanks for the Parts - will see you Sunday
