I just finished putting new seals into my master cylinder - 59 Bugeye - stock
Lockheed unit.
When I took it apart I noticed that there was a plastic type retainer (for
lack of a better term) that sits inside the rear of the brake side spring as
the
spring gets smaller. The clutch side did not have one of these.
The rebuild kit also only had one of these for rebuild purposes.
I am wondering if this plastic retainer plug that sits on the back of the
spring is only meant for the brake side and not both the clutch and the brake
side?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
