I've finally got both rear oil seals changed. First one took well over a
week - mostly gathering the right tools and information. The other side
only took an hour and a half! One last set of questions before I put
everything back together. There is a reddish, nearly rust-colored,
substance inside the brake cylinders. Is this some kind of lubricant? Or
is this just residue that needs to be cleaned off? Is any kind of lubricant
required? Thanks.
