Hi Larry, I drove the Pig Trail a few weeks ago while coming home from
the Brits In The Ozarks car show at the U of A Agri-Park in
Fayetteville. By the way, the Hogs had just whupped No. 2 Auburn that
afternoon. We were driving the Austin Marina that day and the old Pig
Trail is still fantastic after all the years. It's a bit out of the way
between Little Rock and Lake of the Ozarks but, time permitting, we'll
set aside a few extra hours for the detour...it's worth it. For anyone
who doesn't know, the Pig Trail is a Scenic Byway on State Hwy. 23
running north out of Ozark, Arkansas up to State Hwy. 16 and beyond.
I've often felt that the grandeur of vast places like the Rockies is
great to observe but that the closeness of the wooded Ozarks is scenery
I can actually participate in. Thanks for mentioning the Pig Trail,
Larry. I'll be looking forward to seeing you at the show.

Jack

Hey, Lake of the Ozarks is only about 5 hours north of Little

Rock...Y'all can count on my attendance and I'll see if I can shake up

some of the more lethargic Spridget weenies around here too. I'll have

the old beaten up "Punkin Seed" orange Mk2 Sprite looking as good as

possible (which is no easy task). By the way, If you're planning to

drive your Spridgets (as opposed to trailering) don't forget to budget

some time to enjoy the awesome Ozark mountains range. It's one of the

best driving & scenic opportunities you'll ever find.

One of these days, we'll look back on this, and plow into a parked car.
