FBI agents now think a woman who is suspected of abducting 17-month-old Apex
twins took them to Canada.
Allison Quets, 49, is wanted by federal authorities on criminal charges of
international parental kidnapping. The FBI released a statement Thursday
evening that said Quets crossed the Canadian border on Saturday with two
children.
The children, Tyler and Holly Needham, had been living in Apex with their
adoptive parents, Denise and Kevin Needham. Quets gave birth to them and
gave them up for adoption. She was appealing the adoption in the Florida
legal system, where she lives.
