my jr. high in bethlehem pa was broughal jr. high. there was a shelter
under the school. in the early 70's when i was a student we would go to
gym class pounding on the 55 gallon drums wich were marked as containing
water....but were all empty!
yes i remember the school drills of getting under your desk! and the
signs too!
wow! i'm fossilizing as i write...

we did not have neighborhood watch signs or i'd probably own one! i did
have a nice collection of "freedom train" signs.... ;)
