170mph biker caught online

A motorcyclist who filmed himself travelling at 170 mph could face a
prison sentence for reckless driving after being identified by police.
Footage of the 34-year-old man from Edinburgh, posted on the website
YouTube, shows him performing "wheelies", weaving in and out of
traffic on the A1 and travelling at nearly two and half times the
national speed limit on a wet road on the East Lothian coast.
It is believed that, if convicted, he would be the first person to
be successfully prosecuted for speeding as a result of video clips
published online. The man will be named when he appears in court.
