About 35 years ago, I worked with an outfit that sold & serviced pumps
(Homelite) powered by Briggs & Stratton engines. One of our customers
had us convert all of their B&S engines to LP gas. There was a
supplier, in Springdale, PA, who sold LP gas conversion kits for
virtually every industrial and automotive application you could think
of. However, I have to admit I never saw a kit for dual carb
applications.
The outfit I worked for has long since disappeared, but, the customer
that had us convert their B&S engines to LP gas is still very much
around (Consolidation Coal Company). The outfit we got the conversion
kits from was called Checkeye Auto Electric, as I recall. I think they
may still be around.
If you wish, I will check for you.

Listers,

Has anyone converted or thought of converting a Midget to run on LPG? If
so,
what were the conclusions.

I am wondering because I am considering relocating and I would like to
take
my 71. However, premium gasoline is just that "a premium" here. Most
cars
are either converted to LPG or are diesel.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

TIA
Brent
