One of the features of the mailman list software is the 'nomail'
option. Useful for turning off email when you are going on
vacation or such, and don't want to unsubscribe.
It also allows folks that use more than one address to subscribe
them all, so that their messages are not bounced as non-member
submissions. Setting nomail for the extra adresses keeps you
from getting multiple copies of each message.
