[Spridgets] MGB Tach Troubles

I know that a lot of you have MGB's and can probably answer a question for a 
friend of mine. After the car warms up, the tach starts responding to the 
turn signals. It dips downward each time the signal clicks. It also 
sometimes goes to zero when the brakes are applied. The emergency flashers 
do not affect it.
